Shelly Green is Chief Human Resources Officer, USG Corporation. In this role, she is responsible for the Human Resources Operations, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, Corporate Communications, and the USG Foundation.
Green joined USG in 1994 within the Human Resources team of USG Interiors and held a variety of roles within HR over the next 26 years, culminating with SVP of Human Resources Operations and Senior Director, Talent Management and Diversity. Green’s breadth of experience and engaging leadership has seen her focusing on business partnering, talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, and change management.
In 2020, Green left USG to assume her most recent role as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at UGN, Inc., a Tier 1 manufacturer of high-quality acoustical interior trim and thermal management products for the North American Japanese automotive industry. She returned to USG as Chief Human Resources Officer in October 2022.
Green holds a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. She serves as an Advisory Council Board member for the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago and lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and two children.
